One price covers the room, the meals, the drinks, and most of what there is to do. What that sentence includes changes from one property to the next, and the gaps are the part worth knowing before you book rather than after.
Meals and drinks are in the price
Restaurants, bars, and room service at most properties. Some hold a few venues back for a fee, which is easier to plan for than to discover.
The flight is usually part of it
Most Canadian departures sell as one booking: seats, transfers, and the room together, with one number to call when something moves.
The days come with things to do
Pools, water sports, a kids club, and something on in the evening. The extras tend to be the motorized ones.
Tips and taxes are settled
Usually built in across the Caribbean and Mexico, so the week does not end with a stack of receipts to work through.
